The chapel does not receive donations made on this site so please send donations directly to the vestry at Strawberry Chapel for its restoration fund.
    Checks should be payable to:
    “Strawberry Chapel”
    and mailed to:
    1150 Hungryneck Blvd, Suite 331
    Mt Pleasant SC 29464
    United States
Or send to the “Friends of Strawberry,”
a separate 501(c)(3) organization setup by descendants of the chapel to assist with continual restoration and renovations.
100% of money sent to these two organizations benefits the chapel and its graveyard.
Money sent anywhere else does not reach the chapel.

  • I stumbled onto this place while visiting Mepkin Abbey. After reading the historic display I could envision the town alive with the noises of life, people going about their business, strolling the streets of the small town on the river. The remaining old Church with the Spanish Moss hanging off the live oak & magnolia trees swaying in the gentle breeze is a picture out of the old South.
